Needing to win to go through without having to worry about NRR.

Great game and well done Afghanistan although glad Australia won. It means Sri Lanka have nothing to play for except pride now. I imagine Sri Lanka cant stand Australia either and would rather see us go through but doubt that would affect their performance

The Sri Lankan’s could be dangerous now they have got nothing to play for and the pressure is off them. Like a poster further up the thread says though if we can’t beat them in the morning we don’t deserve to go through.
