Aberdeen fans - sectarian banner...

The club support up there seems absolutely off its collective tits. Strange as their national team support is generally top notch narl.
The OP or someone else may correct me, but I don't think the most off their tits supporters i.e. the old firm, bother with the national team.

what? I picked the only photo I've seen. Are you suggesting the banner says something other than "kill all huns"?

I don’t know does it? Surely you would have a better photo by now, I saw this one at kick off this afternoon.

Could say
Roll all buns
Roll all huns
Kill all buns.

Needs clarification imo

Why huns though?

Most commonly used explanation, and there are a few, is during the First World War orange order and Rangers men in Glasgow took jobs in shipyards to avoid having to serve their country in France. Catholics weren’t allowed employment in shipyards so off they had to go to serve the cowardly others’ King and country.

The British press, when this became common knowledge ran the headlines “No better than the Huns”

It’s stuck ever since.

It’s used as a derogatory term for Rangers fans, and in Northern Ireland, an often used terms for Protestants (I was told that by an former IRA fella on a taxi tour)

Both sides of the bigot brothers need to grow up.
You’re right there marra. It’s a derogatory term for Protestants used frequently in Northern Ireland. There’s not a chance that plenty enough Aberdeen supporters wouldn’t know that. Even if we give the dickheads behind the banner the benefit of doubt and suggest that in this instance it’s purely aimed at effectively, “kill all rangers supporters” it’s hardly a huge move towards acceptable ffs.
