Forget about colours...

This lad needs our help.

A young Newcastle fan who has been a part of the little kickers football 'academy' has been diagnosed with MDS/Pre Leukaemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. My youngest has been a few times, however I've never met the young lad or his family, but I know how well we come together and put colours aside to help someone in need.

If anyone can go down and give a swab sample, please do and try our best to help this lad get the treatment he will desperately need.

The registration told me I was too fat to be a donor! :(

I mean it didn't word it like that, it actually said to be a donor you need a BMI below 40, which is most people other than the truly obese people like myself unfortunately.

Good luck to the fella though.

Aye, this is certainly a time when people put their rivalry aside and come together as what we actually are, which is one human unit.
A big up to those who offer their services.
I'd do it but I'm too old, it seems.

I'm not allowed either. Stupid autoimmune disease.
