Packed Neuer and IF Palinha in successive one rare gold packs from the early access SBCs this morning. Both untradeable but decent for my first owner team.

Making decent progress trading as well. Up to about 150k profit and 60 items on the transfer list. Still haven’t spent the Ultimate edition FP yet, might wait till better packs come out. Not spending a penny more after that.
 
Packed Joe Gomez which I sold on for 20K.

Bought Werner and Malen for my Bundesliga team with that 20K.

Squad is starting to take shape. My team only has 1 player with less than 80 pace, yet I'm finding that it's not making much difference in games. Having decent pace is almost pointless.

Not necessarily. All players start with a cap. They don’t all develop at the same rate. Dan Neil, Michut, clarke and Ballard are the only two of ours who are confirmed at 80+ potential. Bennette not on any of those sites yet to confirm

The game is alright, but goalkeepers are abysmal like. It also seems a bit harder than last year, but might just be because it's different.

There's no picture for Bennette, Huggins, or Pye annoyingly.

I play on world class and I'm finding it a bit more of a challenge than last year.

Some pros and cons

Agree to previous comments, Keepers are crap.

Definite difference in speed between slower and quicker players for a change. Far too often on FIFA slow pondering CBs would be able to skin speedy wingers. This finally seems to be resolved. Give the ball out to Jack Clarke and he will skin almost any full back for speed. Glorious!

Overall matchday experience has had a bit of a facelift which is nice.

Commentary seems to have had a makeover too.

A lot more stretching of legs for interceptions, and I had Simms leaping like a salmon for a header. The kind of one where they go head first over the man in front.
 
Anybody on? Paid for the Ultimate edition for my son and he hasn’t been able to log in since he came in from school. Won’t even let me in to the app. It’s infuriating!!
 
Power shots are so satisfying, the Moments mode is quite enjoyable. Little bite size bits of gameplay and the packs you can get are tradable, dead handy if you've got like 20mins to kill or something.
 
I’ve played four games online so far and haven’t made it to half time in any of them with the other person quitting out.
 
Few questions…

How do you hold the defender off as you’re running after the ball?

How do you power shot?

How do you pressure with a defender and make the tackle?
