Is there anyone who would like a seat on a minibus leaving Billingham at 11 (ish) on Saturday? Returning from Sunderland 6pm. If so give me a shout/pm. We’ve got a couple of places left.

Is the metro running? I'm sure i've seen a thread saying metros are off too.Bit of a long haul, but could break it up with a pint in Newcastle before getting the metro to Sunderland.
Get X10 from Middlesbrough , Stockton or Billingham. £10.90 explorer day ticket, valid on 99% of North East buses, and metro as well.

Agreed.
Even with the trains not running, and many fans like our good selves, travelling to the game from outside of Sunderland, we'll still pull in a crowd of around 38,000, which imho, is absolutely fantastic.
Let me know @Cool for Catts honestly dont mind.Agreed.
