Had my spuds the other night. Ok, if a little bland. Cooked really quickly though, Much quicker than any shop bought I've had. Ruined the first ones overdoing them.
Onions have been lovely. Gorgeous in a salad.
Still not pulled the beetroot out.
Me apples are sweet as owt. Class.

what kind of apples do you grow? you shouldn't take for granted how well apples and strawberries grow here, I've got a belter bunch of strawberries ripening up and I'm going to enjoy them very much

Not sure to be honest. I inherited the apple tree buying the house.
Mostly green and I'd say a granny smith or golden delicious but some of them do have a hint of yellow/red to them.

rip, mine are still green and waiting patiently to become tasty red chillies
Some of them have bits of green but I can't see it happening, it's stalled by the looks of it. Learning curve for me, all the herbs are spot on.

Any idea what apple tree I could have, similar to Bramleys, cooking apples, but not as big, pure green in colour. I tried checking it out a few weeks back but drew a blank.

There are so many varieties marra, it would take a proper itk apple freak to nail exactly which one you have.
