Football Insider say it's Mowbray.

Do people log on here with their alt accounts to post "howling at the moon" opinions when shit has gone wonky or do we genuinely have these maniacs as fans?

He's a safe pair of hands, which is what we need right now. Solid Championship manager who fits the attacking football/develop young player aims. and can start to build on the foundations built so far. We need to play a long game here.
Possibly i'm being biased by his age if he has a record of improving young players and attacking football then fine. I've just never associated him with that

Sunderland are preparing to name Tony Mowbray as their new manager within the next 24 hours.

Well I'd dismissed the club's ambition when we went for Neil over Keane and was totally wrong then. Prepared to give Mowbray a chance and see where we go. Surprised he's been identified as the best candidate by our hierarchy though, he just doesn't seem to be a fit for this model.

You watch then so fair enough.
However, Mowbray got you your highest league position last season since you dropped out of the PL having spent next to nowt.
Doesn’t sound half as bad as you’re describing.
He’s quoting from another Blackburn’s fan perspective, it’s not his personal opinion on Mowbray.

Just feel that the club suits someone with a bit of personality and enthusiasm. Mowbray has always looked and sounded bored as hell. Not an inspiring appointment at all.

Spot on.

Reid, Keane, Allardyce all big personalities.
