Its not the worst but it kind of suggests Speakman's grand plan was words only. Yes, I see why and maybe he will settle us down but its quite clearly a step away from what Speakman has been preaching. He has lost his nerve and, to be frank, any optimism we had about where this club was going has pretty much gone. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

I think any negative reaction to Neil coming in was largely down to the way that the club had handled the whole thing. Certainly to a lot of fans anyone other than Keane was going to be a huge disappointment once Dreyfus had started liking posts on Instagram suggesting that he was coming back.

I was horrified when he was first mentioned.
Having calmed down, read about him and thought about it, I'm OK with it. He's not the person I thought he was.

It's an easy, safe and probably cheap appointment, but Mowbray's a decent pro with great experience who's been close to the club for some time.

Let's give the bloke our support and a fair chance.
