Tony Mowbray Rumour

It will be a disaster. Boring football. Out of his depth at Celtic. Can't see how he fits in with the DoF model. Only Sunderland could stoop so low.

He might be a boring bloke, but he's certainly not known for boring football.

I remember when he was at WBA, he was absolutely insistent on playing attacking and open football, often to a fault when in the PL.

I didn't see his Blackburn team much, but what I do know is that attacking players (Dack, Armstrong, Brereton, Elliott etc.) all thrived under him.

It might look a bit of a meh appointment, but I don't think he'll set up much differently to Neil

I was sick at the though of this appointment this morning, but to be honest we aren't going to get any better so I just want it sorted as soon as
I’m with this. We all said we’d be happy with a season of non-excitement and that’s why we’ll get with Mowbray, we won’t be getting relegated. Let’s see what happens next summer

Na mate, I'm saying if it is him I'm not going to cry into my cornflakes, and choose to get behind the team. That's what I mean by what's the alternative, like what else do you propose than getting behind the team? Get the bedsheets out for a bouycoutt?
No, i'm saying I'M not personally happy with appointment. Club should have looked at other options, like a professional should be doing.

Maybe they think he is the safest pair of hands under the circumstances but I'm really going to struggle looking at his face in the pressers. Very deflating uninspiring appointment but we'll see how is proved right or wrong in the next 10 games or so.
