AN Press conference - CANCELLED

The press conference will reveal only that he's off. It won't be Neil taking it. It will be Dodds or Proctor, with the official club line of, can't comment at the moment while the process is ongoing etc.

I'm completely out if he goes. Only reason he would leave is if we're a mess behind the scenes. Don't want to be part of this circus anymore. Leaving for Stoke is a clear indication that we're not heading where we think we're heading.

Well it looks like he’s gone and I’m disappointed. I do think however the only person any animosity should be aimed at is Neil. It’s bad enough sacking us off for stoke but not at least waiting until after tomorrows game is disgraceful and obviously shows how little regard he has for the club. For the club to agree to him going so easily you’d hope we swiftly have a replacement lined up but we will have to wait and see

Bit of a mutual thing i think . He took the job as a shot to nowt ,good bunce if he got lucky , if hed failed it would have been " oh well Sunderland was always a widow maker " no harm to him . As it was he did well but probs always had an agreement that the first consolidated club that came along he could talk.
Bit surprised its so early but if hes not up for a slow build arrivaderci and fuck off .

Why should a manager at a club that can attract 40,000 on the Championship be expected to accept a “slow build”, relative to Stoke?
