No-one knows that he hasn’t went to the club first and said “I’ve an offer from somewhere else and I’ll stay if it’s matched etc”. We can hardly have confidence in the board yet can we who let’s be fair only find themselves in this position because of Neil.

I would agree that if he’s went to Stoke the day before a game then that’s poor though.

and nobody knows what the club have said in return surely? Nobody knows being the key here. Seems like some people are jumping to saying it must be the club's fault when we don't know what's gone on
