For the millionth time: odds are meaningless with things like this.

My neighbour reckons their new manager is Alan Curbishley. That matters about as much as odds.
This a million times. Nowhere near enough liquidity in these markets to be meaningful.

Fingers crossed he is using this to get the security he deserves, and the autonomy he warrants. From Sunderland.
The club won't budge on the way they recruit. And nor should they. Over the last decade our managers have either been shite or done away. You can't tie the long term direction of the club to a manager who, in all likelihood, will leave the club, one way or another.

The whole thing is an absolute shambles and detrimental to SAFC, but if AN is talking to Stoke today but doesn't get the job or he turns it down, how is he going to be received at the SOL tomorrow or whenever he's back at work? I just can't see there being much love for him from the fans in either event, so if he is talking to Stoke, he probably needs to go because the trust has been broken.

Im not going to ‘fuck him’ but if he wants to leave us for stoke then he clearly isn’t the man for us, unfortunately.

Wrong attitude completely, imo.

If he leaves us for Stoke - despite the relative size of each club’s potential (to us as outsiders) - then we should be asking what has gone wrong behind the scenes, for him to make that decision.
