AN Press conference - CANCELLED

Tbh I’m pissed off he’s even bothered to open talks with Stoke. If true of course.
He's been dropping hints at not being entirely happy with recruitment like, let's hope he's playing a blinder to light a fire under the powers that be for to lose a good manager at this stage is shit like.

You’ve got to ask are we as poorly run behind the scenes at board level as we are the commercial side

If he was completely happy at SAFC why would he even want the opportunity to speak to Stoke?
Our transfer policy can't be helping our situation either mind.

You don't just reschedule a press conference for 4 hours later woth the press already there. Something is brewing sadly

Of course you do. Taking training this morning is far more important than meeting the press. Once training has been completed there will be the usual press conference.

The press conference is a small window in the morning before training - obviously whatever AN had to deal with at that time was important and couldn't wait - hopefully we will find out more about that later.

Even if this might happen, and would be typical Sunderland, surely the bookies can't be taken seriously as Joey Barton's name was on the betting........

There's been two occasions in about the last 20 years where we've had a manager we'd be gutted to lose after looking like we had it cracked.

The first left for England and lasted about 3 weeks before losing his job and the second is going to go to Stoke City.

This f***ing club man. How.

If he speaks to them his stock will never recover here anyway, even if he doesn’t end up leaving
Just said the same. If he wants to talk to them just sack him and move on. If it's down to contract and we're not willing to budge then just resign.
