Stadium of light concerts 2023

Going to reply together otherwise I'll be parroting. Surprised at that, last time I seen a gig at Wembley we were back in about 20 minutes, admit we did use the Chiltern Mainline to Marylebone though instead of the tube. Feel for you on Sunday, I'm sure there would've been some friendly faces with TFL especially since that gig had already been moved from the Friday because of TFL.

Tottenham and Wembley are shit holes mind, especially Tottenham, the walk from Seven Sisters is a proper trek and a half, not an ideal place either tbf.
The quickest I've ever gotten away from Wembley was the play-off final this year. We knew we had to be back for the 7 o'clock train so I said as soon as the cup's in the air we're gannin.

Seen Springsteen there twice and it's been bedlam.

Guessing we've just been lucky then. Must admit I'd never go up Wembley Way so that's maybe why always use the Rail Station or Wembley Central so probably why tbf.

Ignoring her pop stuff which is great, I thought folklore was a brilliant album
Yeah it was.

Some of her older stuff is her absolute best IMO

I've only ever been to Spurs for an NFL game but bloody hell. I always assumed everything in London was a stones throw from a tube stop

Awful ain't it? Doesn't help it's a proper dodgy as hell area aswell. We just went to see the stadium as we had time to burn, big mistake. Even bigger mistake when we realised there's an Overground Station over the road (believe it's shut match days).

Surprised with Arsenal with Finsbury Park being nearby, mind it's a bit of a tight station. Milton Keynes not at all, another stadium in the middle of nowhere.

Wembley is class though, 15 minutes to the centre of London pretty much.
Gig finished quite late and the queue backed up for the underground was miles , we ended up walking and getting some food and getting a tube further down the line

We criticize our infrastructure but I’ve just been to Wembley on Sunday night and after patiently waiting for an hour on Wembley Way we were informed that there were no more trains that evening and tens of thousands of people including families with children were stranded with no way of getting away from the ground .
People were paying over a ton for Ubers and waiting for hours for night buses .
We finally managed to get to our digs around 5 hours after the concert ended which apparently was quite good .Thanks TFL
Knock on impact of the tube strike?

I've never heard this happen before at Wembley.

Blur are doing a reunions and a Wembley gig, yes please for Sunderland

Jesus, I'm hoping either these or Pulp (who are also touring) do NE gigs. Already spent a smal fortune for Springsteen in Dublin and London next year, and will feel obliged to go see Blur and Pulp. Gonna need to get myself on OnlyFans at this rate.

Coldplay sold out for Manchester, was half a mill in the queue when I went for a look, hopefully they might look to put some more dates on elsewhere with that level of demand.
