Attendance Thread - Norwich City

A large percentage of that estimate would have/could have bought tickets on line, the rest is pure speculation.
The club is not going to do this, full stop.

So as I’ve said before, if anyone feels that strongly, go to the club and volunteer your services to find a solution to those people wanting to attend the match but don’t have IT or a bank account.
Trying to prove a point on this forum is not going to change anything despite the “whataboutery” .
Do one you selfish fucker, its all about making it easy for everyone, not just the I am all right jacks like you

How much preparing can you do when dealing with idiots given their (our) loose cannon instincts?
I assume they will take them off sale soon. Ideal time for am update.

(btw, I am travelling down after the match, due to P'boro 17:48, if I catch a 17:51 then eta BSE 19:40. If the connection goes wrong it's 20:45)
The levels of stupidity do reach new depths every year.

Are you in the Premier Inn? Nice short walk from the station. Couple of pub en route as well.

We don't take cash either, and if we do get a little bit (the odd £20 or so sometimes), I make an online deposit from my own account into the choir's, and use the cash (eventually) myself.
Fair enough. With due respect you are the treasurer of a choir likely with a community bank account. SAFC has 40,000+ customers. Some perspective here.

We should be making it as easy as possible for people to attend the match. If it doesnt make much money fair enough but its not going to loose money (even on the clubs figures) and could possibly bring many long term benefits and importantly goodwill.

9,000 empty seats and some of supposed supporters want to make it hard for some people to attend the match. You need to give your heads a shake.

I dont actually care tbh, it should be an option, at one gate in all stands, am I correct in thinking at the moment any issues at the turnstile are just redirected back to the ticket office as there are no staff at any turnstile to deal with it?

💯 people going on about the cost or whatever to the club. Not being funny but who gives a shiny shite. It’s a community club. Not everything has to be efficient or make money. Even supermarkets etc have ‘loss leaders’. Plain and simple the club should have a walk up option. That can even be card only worst case

It's a normal business account with a bank specialising in charities. OK, we only have an income of around £50k pa, but we sing in professional venues, and, apart from the singers, everyone else involved is a professional musician or singer. Scale doesn't stop you doing things professionally, and it will cost you as much to go to one of our concerts as you'll pay at the SoL. Small =/= ramshackle.

How do pubs get their takings collected? I'd imagine no pub is as rich as SAFC? How do they afford it?
If it's so expensive to deposit cash why do some businesses make it cash only for transactions under a certain amount, EG £5 minimum spend by card?

I can think of 2 off the top of my head that have a £5 minimum for cards. Card Shop place on Chester Road next to Post Office and the Harbour View pub down Roker. With processing cash being so expensive you would think they'd be glad for punters to use cards?
