Alex Neil -Sunderland legend in the making.

As You Were

Midfield
Did an unbelievable job last season . Love the way he’ll change the team etc to give us the best chance of beating the opposition. Does his homework/attention to detail. Straight talking. Love him. If we don’t do well it will be down to him not being backed enough. The owners should back him to the max and he will take us back the the premier league. Young manager etc.

Im pretty sure there will come a time when the tide changes, let's hope he continues to receive this support then.
First run of bad results and it'll be 'Neil out!'
He's done more than enough to earn support throughout any bad patches we may have. He's clearly what we need, but there's going to be times when people need to be patient.
I think he has got some arrogance about him as well like. Decent managers tend to
They do, but Reid was too arrogant to see his own faults. I think Neil is clearly confident and focused, not sure about arrogant.

TBH, the odds are we won’t get promoted this season. People would need to accept that. We wouldn’t have sacked Denis Smith in 1988-1989, nor should we sack Neil this season.
