Ash were a bit boring at Kubix from memory. Apart from the best known few singles I felt like I was just waiting for SLF.Ash and The Stranglers will be class on Saturday .In principle to me they should have wrapped after Daves death but they sound as good as ever
Always thought they were a great singles band and decent musicians ,20 year since i saw them ,by the time you've done the hits its nearly time to finishAsh were a bit boring at Kubix from memory. Apart from the best known few singles I felt like I was just waiting for SLF.
I’m just not that into them. Shining Light & Oh Yeah were canny, but not quite to my taste. The covers bands early on usually go down really well due to the majority knowing all the tunes.Always thought they were a great singles band and decent musicians ,20 year since i saw them ,by the time you've done the hits its nearly time to finish
Got to beat copy bands ,for me anyway
WankersThis will be my third time this year for the Rifles

Saying that, one of my favourite bands at Kubix was Pop Will Eat Itself. Knew nowt about them, but they blew the roof off the tent.
Became a bit duller when Charlotte left.Ash were a bit boring at Kubix from memory. Apart from the best known few singles I felt like I was just waiting for SLF.

As hits of yesterday bands go, what these festivals always are ,Ash would do me for an hours . The big draw is The Stranglers ,as with the last album they're sounding as good as ever
Met him ,dont like MackesonAsk @Longy for a spare can or two mate, he only drinks good stuff.
good job 'the the ' aren't playing then.Too many ‘The’ in the band names for my liking

Hugh Cornwell was good last night. I did cut him short to go & watch bootleg Beatles with me mates like.Heading down in the morning from the Highlands purely to make up for having to cancel the February Stranglers gig in Newcastle after catching Covid at the Glasgow gigs
First time seeing them in the North-East since 1991
They played Wolverhampton last night and Blackpool Rebellion tonight so they'll be shit hot tomorrow night
They're as good live now as they've ever been

Already planning tactical naps so I’m ok for the Stranglers tonight.
Nearly had a disaster during the night when I needed a piss & couldn’t get out of my sleeping bag or tent. Proper panic on. I’d be nee good on the Crypton Factor
