Thought they were getting rid of the barriers with the base that point out in major races

Cheers mate…just Eurotunnel and the M20 to survive.
Having worked at loads of events, I can't think of any alternative type that can be deployed & removed quickly.

Bit of football skill from the Solomon Islands on match point. I wasn't aware you could kick the ball in beach volleyball.
I thought I saw that. I’ve only played volleyball in college, 100 years back and I’m sure you couldn’t boot it.

must be ok on the beach version of the game

Do know they changed the ones at big UCI races, though these were more aimed at the sprints…given where it happened these wouldn’t have helped Thomas

I thought they were the same barriers with covering boards & usually just at the finishing straights.
