How useful to people think this is going to be? Are any difficult questions just going to be deflected in on the basis that they are for the CEO or Chairman to answer?

Or am I just being over cynical? 50+ years of supporting SAFC tends to instil this in you 😁

Big news so far from the forum... A second bus on for South North
Franklin claims it's a joint decision for declarations
He claims it's rare him and the captain disagree
Captain will always make the final decision
Club expected Potts to be around most of not all season

Franklin claims Coughlin has been awesome when part of championship bowling
North said hindsight maybe would have got a bowler in now.
North sounding like these shit wickets will be the norm here since the re-lay
North says balls poor, massive issue.
Seam on the balls are completely different to previous years.

Thought process is to invest time into Trev with regards to spin
Franklin says it's a slow process developing spinners
Marcus North says he would love a left armer.

Just home. Reflection of the forum is that Marcus North comes out of it with a lot of credit. He spoke very well, and clear. Franklin exactly how I thought he would be, an absolute charlatan. I asked a question about the T20 and he answered it like a rabbit in front of car headlights, they both in my opinion contradict themselves when they say they want players to develop then when I gave the example of dropping Bushnell for Maddinson in the last county game on the back of Bushnell doing well and a 180 in the 2nd xi, Franklin seemed lost for an answer. I questioned him on the T20 selections and again he was out his depth answering them basically claiming they picked the best team :lol::lol: and said the young players who I said carried the drinks all competition, will gain experience been around the first team... Again I'm not convinced by that given how shite we were. He skirted round when I said when Bushnell played he didn't bowl and batted at 7. Bloke is an absolute charlatan. North however has gone up in my estimation. Franklin also seemed to pass "blame" on others when selecting the T20 squad... Now it's only my opinion but surely he has the final say and if our coaches believe playing two wicket keepers ahead of the likes of Bushnell is our best team, then I'm worried.... Obviously I don't believe that's the case though and the blame lies with the lead coach as I quoted him after the competition when he said "we have to look at ways of winning" hence I asked why did he keep selecting the same failing team 3 wins in 14
