Reporting about a tournament happening now is not rewriting history, its just reporting.

And why did you remove the bit about the Brazilian womens team only existing because men wanted to watch them? Thats a ballistic sexist comment with bells on plus flashing lights and a foghorn.

What’s the big deal with his view anyway? Am I missing something? Is the coverage relative to Interest in the event? Probably not.
Does it matter? No because people have so many other channels to watch now.
Is it elite sport and warrant prime time TV ? Probably not yet but will be in time

What does the women’s game have to do to become elite? Players have to be technically as good as in the men’s game. In all other sports I can think of they are e.g. Tennis, Golf, Athletics etc.
Is it a good thing to promote a sport to a level it doesn’t yet warrant? Yes because it’s got the potential to positively influence millions of young girls and encourage their participation in sport both playing and supporting. No other sport has the potential or the reach to do this.
Is it public service broadcasting? I think it is

I have been going to womens football for 12 years and I can assure you it has never been for the reasons you suggest there.

I actually pity you.

It's happening in all industries, Regardless of talent. Women should be equal in every aspect, we have male and female humans and a little bit of PC BS human in the middle, but whatever, live and let live. Human life is important and 'they've' decided 'more' important than animal life for a long time. I digress. Scum! going out on ships and killing a defenceless Whale, shooting a deer or Rhino and feeling good about it....these people need culling. and in a funny way, they are.

Farmers are being attacked financially, so that they can't produce enough food or just walk away from the industry as it's not worth it.

We're coming out of a 'white male' driven global society and some don't like it. In particular the old skool male 'white is right' brigade are getting there arses kicked. America is having a rough time of it and slowly but surely peopele are pushing back and 'starting to wake the fuck up'

society as you knew it in your/my teens teens is being 'killed off' and being replaced with a more favourable ideology. This 'new' world-view is naturally coming from America initially and embraced by parts of Europe. The wonderful UK hasn't seen a bowler hat and umbrella "saying good morning"

the BBC isn't the BBC anymore. It was a sacred institution when I was growing up. Sure it had it's skeletons that have come to light but there was a definite shift in it's culture post 911. Or rather, it was more obvious where it was heading.

The UK is a mini-America now, it's lost it's soul. The oldies in the UK are 'tolerated' it's f***ing disgusting. Their views are irrelevant.

However it turns out over the next few decades. The 'elite white male' gunts will continue are calling the shots with their anti-human BS coming from America and assimilating whatever they can.

I could go on but I would imagine you have had enough of reading y 'consipracy. BS despite everythnig i've said happening all around us. The big white elephant in the room, if you will.

Is the 6 o'clock news more light' hearted these days? A bit like it is on American Broadcasts?

The reason for my comment was your mentioning of the fictitious 'equal pay brigade' and that you were "Happy for the women to have their own Sky Sports subscription channel to dictate their salaries." Sounds to me that you're granting them your permission and they should be grateful for it, and it comes across as low level misogyny.

Not exactly illegal ... against the law ... the FA banned it from being played on FA affiliated grounds. But it mostly had the same effect.

Tonight's game was one sided enough, the England team didn't need 50 more years!

I do think it's shit when I've seen football news/fixtures be announced as if it's men's football by not mentioning "women's", that is an agenda. But the BBC showing matches is exactly what they should be doing, there's more interest than ever, I would never have watched 10 years ago, now I do.

Between them they've already screwed the country during my lifetime (i'm 49) so I left the country and f***ing glad I did. To bring it closer to home.

How did SD and his mate acquire SAFC despite 'passing' a 'fit and proper' owners test? Using the clubs own money to pay for it! In 2020....still mad as hell about that I doubt we are the only club to suffer from such EFL bullshit.

It's the new worldwide slogan..thickies did not actually realise that to build back better you actually have to get battered down to the bottom, so now I just let it play out. Three weeks to flatten the curve was the klaxxon, those that clicked on fastest could see what was going on/playing out. I've given up now,what will be will be.
