I mean comparisons can be made between anything. From what I’ve read no one is saying womens football is comparable to mens.

How can something be ‘equally worse’? Thing is, now the boot is somewhat on the other foot, the misogynists and Neanderthals don’t like it much do they. When you’re lived a privileged existence not having to worry about racism, sexism or homophobia, equality feels like discrimination.

So you think the amount of money in the men's game is reasonable? Bale with 650k a week?

I was talking with someone and suggested to help grow the women's game there should be a rule that 20% of earnings have to go into the opposite sex's earnings. This would be both ways so as the revenue coming into the women's game more is given back. This would help with growing the game.

The problem is we don't seem to be seeing much attendance increase in domestic league games.

Thats not actualy true. Attendences have been rising year on year although obviously the pandemic interrupted that.

It's a world cup so it's on TV as I would expect.

However, on a separate note...I have the Athletic and I follow Sunderland, la Liga, The Premier League, Championship, Series A and the SPL but I still get loads of articles for the Women's England team on my feed even though I'm not subscribed to it. There was an article about white shorts and period the other day (I'm not taking the piss). Got no issues with women football but just not my cup of tea so not sure why I'm getting it when I'm not subscribed?

It’s cheap television and gets quite high viewing figures. Not that hard to understand. The standard of play has very little to do with it.
