That’s why you’ll always be ignorant because you ‘Can’t be arsed’ to look before you post.
Like i said. Nothing you say will improve or enrich my life in any way so there’s no point in me seeking it out. You started a thread that was rooted in ignorance - and reacted in a defensive manner when called out for it. You’re either a narcissist or a bigot. I absolutely cannot be arsed to engage with you any further.

It's a branch of the #1 sport in the world. Much better to cover that than pub games like darts and snooker. Mind boggling how those two ever got on tv.

The thing is, the quality of football on offer in this game has been far from dross (by England at least!). Some really well worked goals and great technique on show…the people who compare the quality to the national league obviously don’t watch much of either!
If I’d seen over the past season, Sunderland play anywhere near the quality I’ve watched tonight, I would have spat my pint out. This has been a masterclass tonight.

Well what is it?
I've actually watched the whole match with my wife and really enjoyed it but I've also enjoyed the usual lot having a meltdown.

Great 8th goal there mind.
There’s a shit load of misogyny, both blatant and some thinly disguised. It’s not banter, it’s reductive, demeaning language spewed from the keyboards of blokes who’ve not mentally left the 1980s or earlier.

I've got some female family as well. If someone was to say to them they don't like woman’s footie I honestly wouldn't get upset.

I don't mind if people don't like it. I don't like other sports like formula one or darts.

I do mind when people complain because it's "rammed down their throat" on the tele/websites or they post patronising comments about how men are superior. That's just ignorant and disrespectful to women.

You can say you don't like it, that's fine. I don't like horse racing or F1. Its the get back in the kitchen type comments that I object to and they are 'shite' compared to the men because that's just mysogyny pure and simple.

Tbf the general rule usually is:
If they broadcast = sport exists.
If they don't broadcast = sport doesn't exist.

Hence there's no such thing as Tennis and Snooker on Sky and there's no such thing as NBA, NFL or Darts on BBC (bar the World's).

Tried watching it. Couldn’t. Turned it off but don’t feel it’s been force fed.

The quality is shockingly bad - Northern League standard at best.

The hyperbole from the comms team over sun-standard football was realy grating too.

I don't agree with those comments but really can't get upset about them.
I'm the only person in our family that enjoys watching this - not one female member does.

The wife only watches it because I make her.

Bunch of f***ing fannies who are terrified by women.

Women who can play football better than they can.
Probably a great deal of the idiots on this thread would struggle to climb a flight of stairs in their houses without gasping for breath, never mind play with the intensity or skill England have shown tonight

FOR ME. Woman’s football is of no interest so I won’t watch it. But same goes for F1, darts, snooker, horse racing among others. Having said that everything about the BBC makes me puke.
Agree. Good luck to them, but amongst other things I'm not interested in women's football, F1 or anything to do with horses. So I don't watch them.
And as for the BBC, their pursuit of political correctness and promotion of what they consider equal opportunity is destroying their credibility as an unbiased public service.
