Callum Doyle

Don't Coventry play 5 at the back? Likely he will play LCB. Not sure if we should play Pritchard out of position just to get him on Doyle.

Doyle steps out of position all the time so you would Pritchard drawing him out and have Stewart and a winger running off to overload. Opposition attacking mids were at it all the time with him.

And you are off it if you don't think Pritchard floats about either side.

Good player who I feel like we overplayed last season, which is why he tailed off imo.

Interested to see how he steps up in the Championship. I think he'll be a good signing for them.

If they rotate him, then I agree.

If he’s one of their main centre halfs and will barely be rested, he will burn out.

Wasn't the original loan deal touted as being 2 years just before he signed for 1? If we wanted him, I'm sure he would've been the first bit of business we done.

Best of luck to the lad, but now that we're a championship club, it looks like we're moving away from developing other clubs youngsters.

I think he'll have a decent career.

I'm glad we didn't resign him as I don't think he'll be at a good enough level just yet to play regularly in the Championship

Callum Doyle`s family used to come up to Sunderland for every home match... How proud they must be of their young son . Big future in the game so good luck to them all.
Nice lad but AN moved him Out of first team pretty rapid no where near experienced enough for first team football got a lot of learning todo

I'm disappointed - I think he is a good, talented player who Johnson managed really badly last season and Neil never got to see the best of him. And because we really need a left sided centre back, who can play in a two or on the left of a three, or even if necessary offer cover at left back.
