This is one of the reasons I wasn’t totally looking forward too in getting promoted.

Loads of boro coming on this board.

Where did I mention celebrating anything? I made the point that we'd have no reason to hide - it's not as if we've been the ones stuck down in League One.

Now that you've finally made it back to the Championship at the 3rd/4th time of asking? (I'd lost count) you have some Sunderland fans implying that you'll be every clubs cup final. Deluded is not the word.

We will be your cup final though, like it or not, your fans have an unhealthy obsession with playing sunderland and Newcastle.

I dislike boro more because of this attitude, than I do because they are of any relevance. Newcastle and Sunderland are rivals, Boro aren’t. No ifs or buts, it’s a derby in name, but as far as us and the mags are concerned it’s not even half as important.

Also just to be clear, it’s a fact that we will have a higher attendance than most for away games, for the simple fact we take more away than most. Delusion aside, clubs do also still see sunderland as a draw, we are still a big club based on history. You might not agree or see that because of who you support, but it’s a fact.

An unhealthy obsession? 😆 Majority of Boro fans wanted you to stay down in League One. Says a lot about how much we look forward to playing you.

I mean, I personally can't wait to hear thousands of Mackems chanting "paedos" at us in a few months time.

Only had one drink, that was enough in deep Smogville, we’d arranged to meet in the Miners Arms, Hank was in a totally different pub 🤷‍♂️ I asked the lads in the bar if they knew him & asked the barmaid, nope they said. When Hank finally landed (literally), barmaid said he’s well known and actually barred, only my smooth talking whilst buying the drink kept him in, was an experience 😉😳👍

Playing or just us in general, does it really matter. Your just being pedantic. Fact is your lot care far more about us that they need to. The fact you continue to post on the board does nothing but support that.
