Sheepfolds development

This looks like it could be lots of franchises and tenants in one area, rather than one overall themed zone it appeared to be when it was first mooted. If they can attract tenants like this one then it could be a very decent destination. The challenge will then be to attract the punters.
Stack without container things.

Route down the quayside is a toppa, affordable , fine(ish) dining restaurant - been a couple of times, with different groups and never had a bad meal. They did/do a three course lunch in the region of about £20 (IIRC), great value. Their Staith House venue was well regarded and in the Michelin Guide for years, too. If they can replicate a bit of all that in Sheepfolds, we’re onto a winner - Sunderland’s first Michelin plate/bib?

Loads to be excited about atm. I’m jealous

Once the new footbridge goes across and the rest of that area cleared reckon will be a cracking place. It has took an age but with the new hotel, eye hospital, city hall, offices and the proposed housing that whole area has reached critical mass where people can "get it". Although the fans museum is fantastic still think it is a pity that building isnt the main railway station with the central station as a metro station only. Would work well now with Vaux/Sheepfolds being treat as one big development opportunity. Looking forward to this progressing.

Sounds like it is going to be top quality clients coming on board. I know a whisky and cigar type bar / room is being announced next week. Definitely going to be different to what we normally see around Sunderland and that's a good thing imo.
