Seaburn Stack

Seen them like that on other jobs too, and it is for strength. If the said blocks were laid on their side they wouldn't take the stresses.
Depends what thickness they are.
You wouldn't lay a block pavior designed to be laid flat on its side, they have spacer nibs on for one.
Anyway it doesn't really matter 😂

It’s not expensive mind.

It’s not that bad.

It’s very reasonably priced for booze and bait.
There is a pub in South Shields we went to a couple of years ago called The Mechanics that had a karaoke but in effect it was a crowd karaoke.

Sunday afternoon the place was banging - they played Dakota and the whole place was belting out the chorus.

I liked it and was joining in like a mentalist.

Pleased it's been a success but Crowd Kareoke sounds and looks absolutely lifting like.
I've only been once, at Christmas, and as you can imagine I was pissing and moaning on about how we better be away before Kroud Karaoke started. Six or seven hours later when it started I thought it was all canny harmless, although I might have been influenced by the beer a tad.
We deliberately sat upstairs at the front so we are about as far away from the stage as you can get. If I'd only had a couple of pints I'd probably have been fuming.
