Just to make it harder he shouldn't be allowed to use the freezer if you ask me.Bag of pasta, bag of rice, frozen veg mix, frozen peppers, stock cubes, tomato pure, mixed herbs. Bag of porridge. Frozen mince/meat probably the cheapest way to go.
Bargain. You can get massive ones which would do 2 meals as wellSounds a very good price to me.
No need for meat at all. Save the pennies on that .Bag of pasta, bag of rice, frozen veg mix, frozen peppers, stock cubes, tomato pure, mixed herbs. Bag of porridge. Frozen mince/meat probably the cheapest way to go.
Tbh I've got loads of dried stuff like beans, lentils, maize meal, gram flour etc. I've got an allotment as well so in a better position than most. The hard bit will be things like meat, fruit, butter, cheese etc.Get yersen down the local asian grocer . Big bag of moong dhal, onions , tomatoes , curry powder , chapati flour , basmati rice , salt , veg oil . Add some yoghurt and the odd egg and you've got complete protein and carbo . The lack of vitamins would eventually prove problematic but if you can get some cabbage should help . Even better if you have a blender and can get some cheap fruit and make a lassi with the yoghurt
If you've got bits of meat or fish in the freezer to eek it out you'll do it easy for a fortnight
Sounds like itBargain. You can get massive ones which would do 2 meals as well

Cheap jar of jam for 30p.. no fruit but give you your flavour and sugar hitGet some crisps and have crisp sarnies. Treat yersel.
Can probably skip the cheese . A £3 chicken can do 4 days probably . Roast chicken first day , chicken curry second , chicken fried rice day 3 , turn carcass into stock and make a soup or sauce for a pasta day 4 , could even add the stock to a Dahl and make gram flour chapaties to have with it . One does me and our lass 3 days like that ( she would live on chicken if you let her )Tbh I've got loads of dried stuff like beans, lentils, maize meal, gram flour etc. I've got an allotment as well so in a better position than most.
