Glastonbury 2022 line up and times

well this and IOW look very poor to me. I'm sure plenty will go, and enjoy. but not for me.

Seems very indicative of the state of alternative music scene at the moment. And really there's a lack of proper big names.

All knock ons from Covid I imagine. Lots of acts are in the middle of large, post Covid tours.
 


I’ll watch virtually any live music and I am looking forward to the BBC’s coverage.

There also a documentary on Glastonbury on Sunday night.

The Glastonbury organisation still have two marquee bands they want to get.

AC/DC and Fleetwood Mac. They would be great on the main stage.

For what it’s worth I don’t think either them will ever do it.
 
there just isn't the big, modern, relevant bands around anymore. i mean, who would people suggest should play, that isn't playing? kendrik lemar and billy eilesh are about as big as you get these days if i'm not mistaken? even the likes of Kanye and Stormsy have peaked in terms of popularity.

look at 1995 - Oasis and Pulp - headlining and on their way to being massive, and british with a new sound
1997- Radiohead and Prodigy - again both british and new and headlining glasto, very much of their time
