He did the same with the kld deal ,,talked bollocks ........nobody had heard of kld until he signed the deal........job done! Please enlighten me to how internet gossip scuppers the deal as you put it......I could understand if it was a high end global firm where news of a takeover could effect share prices but buying shares in a championship club ..how exactly does that deal scuppering work?

Any post that uses the words "its done" should qualify what stage of 'done' it is actually at......

Verbal agreement
Handshake
Contracts drawn up, checked and approved
Contracts signed and legally binding
Shares exchanged
Edit, you can have EFL approval in there as well

Because the word 'done' actually tells us nothing in terms of progress and risk of collapse.

I was talking to some of his mates the day before Wembley.

I already knew he was sat next to Methven on one of the Sunderland Til I die episodes where they do the talk-in at the Queen Vic so there is clearly some link.

Apparently he's a nice fella. My guess is that Methven is just manipulating him to continually spin the narrative in CM's favour.

The same tactic as the bloke from Ireland who is clearly just an account set up as PR for Methven.

This thread started off with a bit of excitement and 4 quick wickets leaving the batters 52-4. However it’s stagnated and they’ve built a partnership and it’s currently 291-4 with the batters taking easy singles and taking some time out of the game. Currently at lunch on day 2 of this saga.

Basically formalising it but it’s KLD’s “baby” SD & CM need to sell more than they need to buy as there’s no way they can sustain a 39% outlay it’d take to run a championship club .

So I think patience is key . Anyone coming in knows it’s purely as a shareholder who will help finance the club & be part of taking the club forward & hopefully self sufficient.
