Let's say due diligence, solicitors, visits, etc, cost £100k.

That has to be spent before an offer can be put to the EFL to consider.

The likes of Storey, Cryptoman or other wasters won't blow that kind of money on a wild goose chase. Even if the EFL agree they've just bought shares which are little but that, a bunch of shares. The only way their value will increase is if money is invested, in the club, and we're promoted. And they'd be reliant on a 24 year old Swiss lad to do all that.

Even as a fanatical Sunderland supporter I'd be very cautious about buying into what could be a long process, Forest took 2 decades.


People on there get courtesy but very arse licking.

I'd guess the vast majority appreciate the posts but reserve full judgement until there's confirmation from the club. No one, from what I've seen, fully believes what gossip is posted nor do they attack people posting what gossip they've heard.

I'm not sure if this is true but im assuming you have to show proof of funds before you get access to the books to do due diligence or get given an exclusivity period?

I really doubt whether anyone posting in here, or the other place actually get any proper info. Seems like it's more just people on a wind up posting cryptic messages and even if people do say they're posting 'info' there's very little to no substance whatsoever. How any of you can be arsed posting on two message boards is beyond me as well

I have no info from anyone whatsoever but I would not be surprised in the slightest if our ownership structure and owners of the shares is exatly the same when the first ball is kicked, as it is now. The crypto stuff was nothing more than a PR stunt to see who blinks first, and I'm not on board with the idea that there's 'several' serious bidders.

I know of one person who was getting info directly from a player, and even then it was barely anything to write home about. I have huge doubts that anyone has any real contacts close to any of the takeover information.
