It's hardly awful crack and to be fair the majority of the thread isn't relevant to this sub-forum.
 
It seems that Bassini (The bloke who ran Watford to the brink and nearly killed Bolton by failing a takeover) has exchanged contracts to takeover at Birmingham. If he get permission from the EFL we should be very worried about our situation...
 
One of the sellers says there are “many serious bidders” via a message to someone

And those serious bidders neither “want or need publicity” until it’s successful.

On that basis make your own assumptions about Tom White and the Crypto Bros, I have.

(They were never “in the board room” either, The Athletic is mistaken.)

Another assumption from me: it’s apparent we won’t know who’s successful until it’s on safc.com so this thread isn’t going to be particularly interesting for a while
