Latest boxing crack

I wonder if on reflection the UK boxing community will look back at Matchroom's time with Sky as the pinnacle of UK boxing popularity, a golden age? You need blockbuster fighters, an alchemy of talent & styles of course...it seems to have passed us now. Maybe wrong to link the good times (if you agree they existed) to Sky and Matchroom, but the time scale perhaps runs parallel.

Sky was the TV for the masses for the last 20 years, coinciding with great rivalries, generational fighters & barnstorming match ups.

Eubank has never genuinely wanted GGG imo. He was however wounded he couldn't get Brook.
Do you not suspect he sees him now as an older slower fighter? Not in his prime anymore and I think canelo will dispatch him late.

Eubank v brook would have been entertaining. Even though eubanks a cock his fights usually entertain

I think Eubank has been terrible recently. He doesn't seem to have much interest in achieving anything and rather is looking for a few big paydays before retiring. He could have some very entertaining, well matched fights if he reverted back to his old style and looked for the challenges around his level..

The brook call out was pretty pathetic imho.

100% agree about him wanting a payday. His ifl interviews always make me laugh because for someone who's done nowt he does fancy himself a lot.
