Derby County deal expected to collapse

So it was proved just in theory🤷‍♂️
If you're offered a job, you have been 'approved' for that job. That approval is almost always conditional upon satisfactory pre-employment checks. If during those checks it turns out that you aren't the person you are, and you have a criminal record longer than Ronnie & Reggie, then that approval is withdrawn because the conditions haven't been met.

What’s the view as a Derby fan perspective?

From the outside, it looks like you lot are fucked.
A lot was made of how Cloughie single handedly saved the City of Derby in the early 70s, job losses running into the thousands and football was the thing to focus on to keep people going. This time it feels like it's dragging down the city, shops closing urban decay and the club in crisis, made even worse by what's happened with Forest and Nottingham in general down the road.
Don't get me wrong there are much worse things going on in the world but it's just depressing, it won't finish me as a Derby fan but it's done me as far as being a fan of football is concerned. IF we still have a club next season I'll be there, apart from having a read on here and checking Stags score I'll have no other interest in it.

Most people are still expecting Ashley to buy the club for nowt and spend the next few seasons languishing in the lower leagues. I don't care as long as we're at least competitive and finally get moving forward again at some point.
