Yes I think certain posters have had abuse on this thread and others in the past, just my opinion obviously.

I get people get bored with the odd cryptic comment, but I'd rather take it for what it is and just be happy that we are moving forward
its just what it is.....people are interested in safc and a poster comes out with "things are changing" do you expect people to go "oh thats nice"no people are interested and ask questions and it cascades into a mess mainly because the generalities never get specific!and on and on.
Some really do
name names!

No they weren't, who told you that? Legionaries were generally citizens and even auxiliaries were free - Rome wouldn't arm slaves (e.g. Spartacus and all that).
Not most legionaries but all parts of the Roman Empire had to supply young men for integration into the legions. The Romans used certain races for specialist duties. For example Numibian horsemen were used for cavalry as they were considered the best. In todays terms mags would be used to fertilise the fields as they are full of shit.

I don't need to it's their for everyone to see with their own eyes!!!!!

I realise @sofatester is talking about me.

All I will say is that I've spent the last few years not talking about Riv. He didn't even enter my thoughts until someone came into this thread acting like him and someone said that it was him.

Now obviously I remember a bad experience that I had with him, and talk about it. That's really it, and I'm trying to let the thread move on as I've said my piece.

The dell 1 was potentially huge.. all the inducations were that it was progressing well. We have subsequently found out that the clown car crash that is madrox got stupid and greedy and fucked it. My guess was that revier got a bit stitched up and way too carried away.. shit happens

Everyone got stitched up, including Donald and Methven. When they appeared at that Wimbledon(?) match, everyone was convinced it was all over bar the shouting. I was in the Hilton later that night with a lad who puts a deal of money into the club in various ways, and Donald came in, more than a bit pissed. I told him not to blow it, and he was sure it would be done and dusted in about a week or so. This was at the time that Reiver (who's a good mate of mine) was getting all these messages too. There was no reason to believe it was all going to fall apart, even though myself and Mrd G have seen enough to know that it's never done until the ink is drying on the signed contract.

Reet that’s it I’m off to shout at the shop that sells them lovely little Portuguese custard tart things. I’ve also just binned me Sandals
All jokes aside if slavery is so abhorrent to people why is it still so prevalent in Africa. The Congo being the worst place cited by Amnesty International.

They were almost paraded at the Wimbledon game weren’t they? They were in a box a couple down from me and all that was missing was a spotlight on them.

Let’s hope these new “investors” are willing to fund the club and our recruitment continues to improve.

Was it Wimbledon? I always thought it was Wolves. Mind you I can't remember what I had for breakfast and I'm still on eating it.
