Donald and Methven were pretty much backed into a corner imo.

What they were selling was worthless unless you're prepared to fund the club for what may be many years.

Not only that, you'd be nothing more than a minority shareholder with no say on what KLD chose to do.

I doubt there was a massive queue of buyers.

If it is KLD or family or associates buying them out they won't overpay, and it'll be a worthwhile amount to rid the club of their influence and presence.
