Lots has happened since the news broke but people ignore it all for a click-bait post.
No one but the people directly involved can know what happens next, for the reasons you've just said.
Anyone pretending they know what happens next are doing just that.
When the situation is resolved there'll be a statement from the club.
Until then no one on here could legally know.
There was no NDA about Donald and Methven going hence various people being told before it hit the media.

Surely it means if he doesn't like who is coming in to his business , he can veto by buying it himself or get someone he knows to do so? It's a veto as such if he has 1st option surely?

Depends on how the deal was constructed........ but i would guess that Donald has to offer the shares to kld..he says yes or no then if its no Donald is free to sell to whoever he wants......... i cannot believe that if kld has refused the shares that he can just sit there and let donald take time to agree a price with another party only for kld to say you cannot sell to that party and i will buy them.

Donald and Methven were pretty much backed into a corner imo.
What they were selling was worthless unless you're prepared to fund the club for what may be many years.
Not only that, you'd be nothing more than a minority shareholder with no say on what KLD chose to do.
I doubt there was a massive queue of buyers.
