They've done better albums. It's all about opinions, I'd rate The Hurting, Seeds of Love, Elemental and Everybody Loves a Happy Ending higher than SftBC.

Im nee connoisseur of fine music but I liked it. then again I liked Seven and the Ragged Tiger and Architecture & Morality

Nowt wrong with a bit of pure pop music! The music snobs won't agree, of course!
As for SftBC, I do listen to it - I have a playlist that has all their studio albums and I play it right through. I just don't think that it meets the very high bar TFF set themselves. There's some good tracks, but I dislike that live version of broken, it just spoils the album for me a bit, and a couple of other tracks never really grew on me.
