Why are roker report doing a John Reece article

Absolutely no evidence at all he’s involved in anything

I would imagine they would have some knowledge, they (and others) made themselves look like tits over the Dell fiasco and would imagine they wouldn't want to go through that again.

The uncertainty needs sorting ASAP. In my opinion next season could well be the weakest championship for a long time, in the sense of looking at the teams who will be in it, and seeing no obvious top 6 teams. The 3 relegated clubs are particularly weak, with two having acquired very low points and the other up shitcreek. That’s not to say I think a takeover means we will be in promotion mix, but I think we have a great chance to at least lay down a marker and become one of the stronger championship clubs next season.
I think we will survive either way, I’m not too worried on that front, but the 2 chancers staying could mean a malaise whereby we simply survive and have no means to push on.

That’s exactly what they’re doing

Talking like he is investing

Im lost like where has this rumour come from?

Who are the Roker Roar Podcast?

They said they can confirm its Radcliffe and Reece but I have absolutely no clue who the hell they are.

Pretty much the majority of squads are stronger than ours

Perhaps not the thread for it, but I'd be quite willing to bet that Norwich and Watford end up in the top four mind.

We will just have to wait & see who it is trying to buy them two out. I would like to see all three go . Get rid of Madrox all together

For now. I don’t see many impressive sides. From what I’ve seen this season Millwall, Huddersfield, Boro and Luton are nothing to write home about yet all had a chance to be in top 6 last day/finished top 6. We’ve got a massive opportunity to do more than just exist in the championship if a stronger investor comes in.

Watford and Norwich always do well in championship

I agree but realistically challenging is a long shot

Watford perhaps but certainly not Norwich as it stands, this relegation seems to be worse than the others they’ve suffered and there’s a lot of discontent coming from the fans towards the ownership which hasn’t been present before. There’s talk of a takeover which would shake things up but as we stand now I think Norwich’s yo-yoing will be halted next season. I don’t think they will keep players like Pukki this time around either.

He’s not really that arsed about football. Just a wealthy bloke from Sunderland so an easy article to write. He’s been wealthy for a long time and will have had any number of opportunities to buy the club if he’d wanted to and I’m sure he’ll have been approached before. Don’t see how this time will be any different.

So did we until 2017-2018, I think Watford’s choice of manager is a huge gamble too and they don’t seem to have any kind of rationale behind their appointments. I think Watford will do better than Norwich, again though the last time they got relegated I think they got something like 37 points, this time they got low 20’s and seem to have a lot of foreign players who will feel the championship is beneath them.

Is there any tangible connection between KLD/Sartori/KLDs parents and the people who are considering investing, other than they all lived in Switzerland?
Billionaire's socialize and network with other billionaires at events all through the year......how often do Sunderland get to wembley?I could easily believe the narrative that down to earth Sunderland born billionaire entertains his old schoolfriends at Wembley and socializes with the kld family at event.....press put 2+2 and get story for paper/meja.

Absolutely but I think If new owners come in we could establish ourselves as a championship side at least with premier league aspirations for the season after next. The longer Donald and Methven are still here, the odds of finishing closer to 24th than 2nd/6th increase.
