I was sent to a private school. Some of the lads were thick as, it’s just their parents had money. Not saying I wasn’t dim either, I was. Having cash isn’t an indication of intelligence!!
The cleverest lad I ever knew went to the local comp I spent my last two years at. Ended up as a forensic scientist in the Cayman Islands for a while. Back living in the house he grew up in back in Belmont now. No idea what he’s doing but I suspect it’s something clever.
