So in a nutshell,
Debt 125 million, club valued at 37-40 million. Twit and Twat then agree to the 37-40 million valuation with a 25 million quid discount as that money would be going to ES.

I've said all along that his PR & Comms have been dreadful.

Anyone with half an ounce of sense will know that club wasn't worth that, now we're in the championship it's a different matter.

It's more than PR and comms though. It was a deliberate attempt to try to add credibility to an inflated asking price.

This. The backers from Madrid (hence Madrox) weren't using the parachute payments. The deal was nearly ready to go to EFL and then Donald decided he wanted a bigger slice of the pie and the Madrid lot pulled out so that's when he and Short came up with the PP plan.

One of the lads on here knew someone quite close to the deal IIRC

Refusing to pay the price they wanted for a L1 club. Get promoted and say right, now I'll buy for the price you agreed. Meaning KLD is actually getting value for money as we are now a championship club again.

MmmmmmmmMMmmmmm Hopefully he has a legally binding agreement so the slimy duckman can't add another 20m on top.

There'll be some sort of agreement for the price of shares upon promotion. I'm sure of it. KLD may be a young novice but the likes of Treur and Levin certainly aren't.

So why didn't the backers from Madrid not just buy us without SD?
