Not a patch on the proper derby but there's obviously a bit of needle there and it will be better than any run of the mill fixture.

Not taken my kids to a Wear /Tyne or a Wear/Tees Derby.

'Wouldn't say that. I personally never saw it as a big match, not being patronising towards them - just the way it was for me, but when we played them there were plenty who saw it as more than just another match.
