Harrison gone

Claire Connor interim CEO. From frying pan into fire?
Dunno,I'm asking.

I’m dubious that the ‘future’ of county cricket would be in safe hands with someone who will be keen to see the women’s game thrive before most other aspects of the game.

Yes, I am a massive cynic.

Only time will tell for sure, but whenever I've heard her speak, she does seem to see the bigger picture of the game. So we just have to hope however long her tenure is, her actions will reflect that.

No idea what she's like but perhaps she'd like to see women given the chance to play long form instead of only being pigeon holes as white ball cricketers.

Anyone with a tiny bit of focus going on long form is an improvement

Not if it’s at the expense of the men’s county game.
The long form of the women's game wouldn't stand a chance if there was no interest in the men's equivalent, she'll know this and I suspect you know this.

If she uses a higher focus on the men's long form county game to raise the profile of the women's long form county game, it's win win.

The first thing she needs to do is cancel the 16.4
