Crypto Crash

Cash is made up bollocks as well really.
Backed by governments.

Obviously they can conjure up as much as they like but it has a promise behind it.

Crypto has no promise and no intrinsic value. Just a price.
Agree with this. I've got some ether too but I'm more skewed to bitcoin than I am ether in terms of how much I've got in.
I still cannot see how it will work.
I’ve tried to think it through but it always falls down.

Tell me about it..
The pal who told me has also lost a fortune. He is well off anyway owns load of shops but aye he isn't a fan anymore..

Lost a load in that Olympus 30k that I know of he put into that alone.

I know someone with circa 20 btc who is a staunch hodler.

I think it pretty much consumes his life, checking the price. Fuck that, too much pressure.

No doubt it will hit a new ATH sooner or later. Problem is people want life changing money from it so hold too long until it inevitably goes tits up.

Just like betting on horses it becomes addictive.
That's true I could of had a fair bit more. Will hold with what got but know for next time lol

Just the waiting game now

I had some back years ago when it broke the 10k barrier and quickly went up to 20k briefly. Didn't sell it and ended up losing money I've looked a few times to try again but think I'm best off not bothering. Hard to press that sell button when it's growing rapidly.

No it won't. Bookmark this if you want.
It's a speculators dream. Volatility is what you want to make money. However, if these currencies are to have any intrinsic value they need to be stable.

I've never bothered with any of it but the bairn made money. I think there will be some room for small speculative punts on the stuff that has utterly tanked as the market is based purely on sentiment which can change in an instant.

They aren't currencies. They are developing ecosystems. Except for Bitcoin which is a store of value.

ETH has lost 33% of its value in the last month and has lost 45% in the last 12 months

Its only a matter of time before it goes kaput
It's down 45% in the last month yes, buts it up 1400% in the last 5 years.

The whole war, cost of living and recession fears are having a huge effect on the last years figures.
