They really are a shit club. Punching horses, pissing on statues doing all kinds of stupid things to affirm their loyalty to the black and white cult of Tyneside. They’ll say it’s the odd idiot, which is true, but the embarrassing protests, antics over takeovers and their embracing of a murderous regime by wearing head scarves and crudely bragging about how much money they have as a club, despite representing an area with more poverty than most just confirms what they are. I’d hate them even if I wasn’t a Mackem.
