Still trying to suss it out. The key seems to be to avoid enemies rather than gun play. Instead of clearing entire ships, you can narrow down which bits to explore to get specific items and then do off. I'm gonna stick with it. Just finished Kingdom Come Deliverance main game, so wanted a change.
