This thread (a few individuals aside) is the reason you're so universally disliked. "What's a Shrewsbury", "Don't know where Shrewsbury is" and the like just shows how uneducated half of you are.

Some realism from one of your fans hit the nail on the head. You might get 30,000 at home, you might have a stadium that holds 40,000+ but you're into your 4th season in the third tier, and the way you played yesterday against a team already halfway on their holidays it'll likely be a 5th season. Face the facts, you're an established 3rd tier side these days.

The fact some of you think historical Shrewsbury is a shit hole, which by the way is regularly voted in the top 20 places to live, is absolutely absurd. Sunderland is quite possibly one of the worst looking, most in decline places I've had the misfortune to visit.

Three cheers to you bottling the playoffs if you scrape sixth, see you next year.

We're not universally disliked at all, most supporters welcome us and they certainly get a good reception in Sunderland. There were Shrewsbury in the Colliery Tavern, after the game,
who were all chatting about football with us.

It's only sad and lonely little internet bellends, such as yourself, who believe that these forums reflect how most people really are.

As it happens you're proving that some Shrewsbury people are idiotic having created an account, during the Easter holidays, to come on here embarrassing yourself.

Please have some dignity and just go away, we have a match tomorrow, there's a good lad.

Shrewsbury is a nice town but with a lot of backwards people. Point proven.

Sunderland is seeing some fantastic regeneration by the way.

Plod on you clown.

Your club will be nothing more than fodder. May as well not even exist in all honesty. Maybe one season you'll sign a couple decent free transfers and look like you may even finish as high as 10th, but ultimately you'll just bob around until you eventually go down, to the dismay of about 17 people

But hey, at least you got to be all edgy and say everyone hates Sunderland...and recognise the size of the fan base...and stadium...hold on, you've not really made any point at all
