Whisky

Probably a decent gateway whisky as it has quite a neutral profile.
Yep, after a horrific experience with Bells aged 12 I couldn't even be in the same room as a glass of whisky for a decade afterwards. Dalwhinnie was the first one that bucked that trend and I actually tried and enjoyed it. It was still a good few years later until I got into whisky properly mind, when a chance encounter with Benromach blew my mind a little bit on a trip to Oban. Haven't looked back since, except to mourn my diminishing bank balance

The 15 ?
Got to say not a fan at all…but £35 for a 15 year old single malt is cheap mind.

Couldn't tell you. Bought one for my Rangers supporting mate to help him drown his sorrows and he insisted he would only take it if I had one too. It was fairly smooth tbh, didn't leave that sharp taste on your throat. Dearest one they sell at £3 a tot.

Tamdhu...getting more expensive or always been pricey for what it is ?
Enjoyed their 12 and the CS but just noticed their latest 18 going for about £140  about £85 for their 15

Aye but bet they don’t sell anything quite like this ;)

“Unfolds it’s true power in combination with lime syrup”. Quite the endorsement!
Recommended for among other things…festivals

Ordered for the first time ( not the wine box btw) and delivery to France was easy and not too bad.
Certainly legit and might buy some stuff to bring back in summer.
Moderate selection but the odd bargain…litre 105 for 40 euros etc

£65 good price for a great whisky in my opinion
Still can't get owa I got a Deanston 18 for £37.50

Ordered one of these yesterday, £41.88 delivered. Had a bottle of the CS stuff which preceded this and it was amazing, this is 46% so have high hopes. WIO have a sale on a couple more of their Benromach stock, here and here. Wished I'd noticed those others yesterday as may have added to my order, great prices
