Booing prior to the kick off.

Whole things pointless by everyone in involved on all sides. No idea why people get bothered by it, no idea why people boo it and no idea why people think it’s having any positive impact at all either. Whole things stupid and needs scrapping, and probably replacing with some actual action against discrimination

Any suggestions?

I hear a lot of “Kick it Out worked fine” from those that are against taking the knee but this is solely due to it being easily ignored by the racists compared to the precious three seconds (maximum) of time that taking the knee consumes.

This taking the knee is so last year ..
Who gives a shite .. people free to do whatever .. more importantly at the match .. get behind the lads.

Why are clubs still taking a knee? If anything racism is worse now than ever, so what is all this actually meant to achieve?

Eradicate racism? Unfortunately, that’s impossible. It’s dividing society more than ever

If they stop kneeling, how will people know I support the current thing?
I think we've established based on previous threads that kneeling good and any disagreement can only be from racism. Any reasons supporting the knee are valid and any against are invalid.

Im not qualified to make that assessment - but at the moment it’s fairly clear from the response of those being racially abused, black footballers in particular, that they see the knee thing as an excuse by the FA and other authorities to claim they are taking action, in lieu of actually taking some action. It’s also clear that the knee thing is creating a bigger racial divide amongst sections of society than it’s healing. Do you really think we’re in a better position than pre-knee taking?

Sadly, I believe it makes us look like a bunch of rascist bigots. There also aren’t many teams that as so few black players than us, and it’s always been like that. It doesn’t project a positive image of the club.

It's embarrassing as fuck, dinna why it even bothers people if some teams want to have a quick knee before a game let them crack on.

You're suggesting there's a deliberate racist policy at the club?

the likes of you would love that. You’re always over these threads, embarrassing yourself.

the club has always found it hard to attract good players, don’t make it harder by effectively booing black players. we need to be more inclusive
