What a load of crap.
He’s left us in the lurch and should be ashamed of himself.
You have admitted you love Rangers more than SAFC. The naivety of your post is absolutely absurd.
Apparently Defoe didn’t want to do this appearance at the Roker and refused to do a Q&A. It was incredulous that no one found out why he’s dropped us in the shit.
Hamstring fella

What do you mean lack of communication?

It's almost like an aging striker playing in a shit team that were getting relegated wasn't able to contribute much anymore?

Are you new to this sport?
Chuck in no effort and no pride in your performances and you end up a shithouse

Hamstring fella
Then why don't Defoe and SAFC state this in the public arena and be honest about the situation?
Until they do I'm afraid I don't believe it because it was all so sudden and the fact that he tried to avoid doing the talk in and refused to do a Q&A session adds to the suspicions of many. The takeover that wasn't, Johnson's sacking and no Plan B leading to a three week pantomime, selling Flanagan for no reason, the lack of striking options etc. etc. and now the mystery of Defoe. Shambolic.

The trouble we keep coming up against yo yo teams with a strong core, Rotherham say, and they are superior in this league.
Those sort of teams always will, they are exceptional league one teams because they know the score at this level. Have they a team more skillful and technically gifted then ours, not a chance, do they know how to bully and intimate our young players, do they know how to play the hapless officials in this league, yes they do and they do it well, Wycombe are another team that will always be there or there abouts yet they are one of the worst footballing teams in this league but they know this league inside out

He may have lost his sharpness, but to the extent that he's now a worse option than Kimpioka ? A lad that his little to no future in English (Pro) football ?
No, but behind Broadhead and Pritchard coming back which means Defoe doesn't even make the bench.

I think he'd still have a good chance and there's the possibility one of those will get injured. I just think he could have left that decision to AN, he's been in all but 1 squad up to now iirc. He's not really stepping aside to allow younger players to play, we signed him because we didn't want those players to play and we still don't.

I suspect he has been offered lucrative employment elsewhere and will start soon enough. He seems to be holding details back, probably at the request of a potential new employer. I think he will be a BBC pundit very soon. I think he will be very good at it too.
Eh he was Sky pundit before we came sniffing

A couple of the lads went and said it was crap. Theres also a revelation the day before which probably cant be made public as it would end up in the newspaper. People who know whos was involved in organising it will know what I'm on about

Do you think it will really change financially if KLD buys Donald out?I personally dont!If kld had a decent financially funded plan to get us into the premiership he would have bought out Donald shares and got the ball rolling............ his pissing about points to his motivation and penny pinching in my book! The money Donald wants is peanuts in the scheme of things if KLD's plans are to get us back to the premiership.

I personally think that KLD will be at Monaco if five years time and we will be run on an austerity model for the foreseeable future where the football is guided by the business plan and not the other way round.

The club would be in a much better place if it had been ran to a ‘plan’ during Shorts reign.
Whilst there is so much about football which is romantic and aspirational in pursuit of glory. Truth is not breaking even, not running the club in a sustainable way is sheer folly and we have suffered more than literally every other club. We were just a rich mans play thing under Short and the moment he lost interest we were knackered.
So I will be delighted if we are operated within a sustainable strategy, and hope that the owners can attract enough investment to make us competitive.
