Team England have a fairly good record historically of completely ruining players’ careers.Infamy,infamy- you can't blame the ECB medical team for injuries to Robinson,Wood, Overton, Stone, Archer- it's just unfortunate.

Are you just being a contrarian for the sake of it?No they don’t
Who have we ruinedAre you just being a contrarian for the sake of it?
Aye I am sure England have purposely make sure they injure their best bowlers
Who have England ruinedNobody made that claim. There’s being a contrarian and there’s being a complete f*cking muppet for the sake of causing an argument.
Are you just being a contrarian for the sake of it?
no, what you said isnt true
I dunno why you said it, cant just make stuff up
Where’s Jofra been for the last two years?
Injured, whats that got to do with it?![]()
Proves my point. I would suggest losing two years of your career falls under the category of ‘ruining’. Especially when you consider that many people are of the opinion that England bowled him into the ground.
It doesnt prove your point at all
The attempt to blame the ECB for every single problem on here is so tiresome like
fast bowlers get injured
thet get injured for every single test playing nation
its a total unnatural thing to do to your body
I didn’t do that, I haven’t done that. Plus, if you look back, I said ‘Team England’ not the ECB. So please refrain from putting words into my mouth.
Why do you always try and turn every disagreement on here into a massive argument?
Why also, do you always try and turn every disagreement on here into a complete 100% binary all in or all out issue?
YES, fast bowlers get injured - I’ve never once denied that or tried to argue to the contrary.
YES, they get injured for every test playing nation - again I’ve never once denied that or tried to argue to the contrary.
YES - it IS a total unnatural thing to do to your body. Hence, for example, Flintoff needing multiple ankle operations due to having bits of bone randomly floating around and his ligaments shot to bits (THIS IS NOT ME BLAMING FLINTOFF’S RUINATION (or non-ruination) ON TEAM ENGLAND).
HOWEVER, it is also true that players have previously had their careers ruined (or shortened, or derailed, or set back a number of years) by ‘Team England’.
A point made several times by various people within the game. Including several coaches, players and pundits who may or may not in their careers have been involved with the England set up.
It’s possible to make a point about a certain number of bowlers, without having to encompass every single bowler who ever got injured playing for England you know…?
Again, Jofra Archer has lost two years (and counting) of his career because he was mismanaged by England.
Liam Plunkett had to more or less completely re-engineer his game as a result of ‘interference’ by England. He had a fantastic start to international cricket but then lost his way. Yes, he had several off field issues too, but it took a move to Yorkshire under the stewardship of Jason Gillespie (among others) to rebuild his career and gain a return to the international fold.
That’s just a couple of examples. There are others who’ve fallen out of favour with England for which ‘Team England’ cannot be blamed and the only reason I’m saying that is to prove the point that this isn’t a complete binary issue. This isn’t some bizarre version of the Raven Paradox. Not ALL players injured for England were injured because of England. There were however a number of players for whom England unfortunately did no favours to down the stretch.
I am not turning anything into a big argument, its just not true
The fact you are quoting Laim Plunkett, 20 years ago, as you cant think of anyone else, kind of shows I am right.
Makes a changeAre you just being a contrarian for the sake of it?
Nice avoidance of the other player I mentioned though, eh?
‘It’s just not true’
Now who is the one making shit up?
Nice avoidance too of the fact I stated that was ‘just a couple of examples’.
I didn’t realise I had to put a sell by date on my claims that Team England have historically ruined a number of players…
For future reference, how many years am I allowed to go back?
For the record however, it wasn’t 20, it was less than 15. So does it now qualify on the Johnson scale of historical cricketing reference or not?

Such an angry man, no you aren't correct at all, another way of soing untrue.
I know you and GordonMuchall hate England, but no need for all this.
Mark Wood was getting injured when he played for Ashington, before he even played for Durham.
No, I said it once.btw Brandon, you keep saying I am just disagreeing with you for the sake of it, I am not
